Who has the fastest internet service?Posted April 26th, 2012 by Tanner
You’ll need to research which providers are available in your particular area before that question can be answered. Speeds will vary greatly depending upon your location, available services and even the time of day. For example, you may be looking at a cable service instead of DSL, but cable is a shared connection. During peak hours of use, your service may slow down, whereas DSL is a dedicated line. It’s important to do your research and compare the companies you’re considering carefully. There are a few comparisons you can make based on technology used, however. Fiber Optic Service (FiOS) is faster than Cable. Cable is faster on average than DSL. DSL is faster than Satellite. Dial-up is the slowest connection available.
