Best ISP ever, it puts fiber in places where WISPs won't go, and the latency and ping is 1. If your thinking about going to Mediacom don't, there internet is un-reliable. With Alpine I have had 1 small outage over a 3 year period which is crazy for a small ISP.

It works even out in the rural areas that most companies seem to think don't need or deserve internet service.
