Smart City Overview and Availability
About Smart City Internet
Smart City, based in Texas, is an Internet service provider with over 30 years of history behind it. Though its headquarters are in Houston, the company has expanded to offer services to a range of metropolitan areas. Some of the areas covered by Smart City include Los Angeles, Charlotte, Anaheim, and Washington DC.
Before selecting Smart City services, you'll need to decide what type of connection you want. Smart City is divided into two divisions. The first, Smart City Networks, provides telecommunication and data services to trade shows, conventions, and other large events. Smart City Telecom is more of a traditional ISP, providing contract-based Internet services to companies in central Florida.
Although Smart City Telecom focuses primarily on business services, it also offers residential Internet plans to Lake Buena Vista, Little Lake Bryan, and Celebration. They recently added a Warp Drive 100 plan, which gives customers the chance to enjoy speeds up to 100 Mbps. Fiber-optic connections are generally much faster and more reliable than cable or DSL connections. If you want even faster Internet, Warp Drive 1000 may be a plan to consider. This plan offers speeds up to 10 times higher than the Warp Drive 100 plan. With a 24-month contract, you may enjoy a considerable discount on your monthly fees. On top of fiber-optic plans, Smart City also offers conventional DSL connections.
If you want to connect your business to the Internet, Smart City has several services you can learn more about. Dedicated and shared ethernet plans are available, as is business DSL. Data storage and services allow you to keep your files safe.
Smart City is a consistent, nationally renowned ISP that can meet the expectations of your business, family, or convention. Check out Smart City to find out if they offer service in your area.
