Starlink recently announced discounts on hardware in select areas of the U.S., just in time for holiday savings. A Starlink Standard Kit normally costs a whopping $349 on top of already pricey monthly plans—making Starlink one of the most expensive residential internet providers.
But for a limited time, customers in certain areas can sign up for a Residential or Residential Lite plan and get equipment included at no cost.
Hardware and plans included in this offer
This deal is limited to Starlink Residential plans, so Roam plans and the Starlink Mini are excluded. You’ll get a Starlink Standard Kit included with your plan as a rental, but if you cancel your plan, you will need to return all equipment within 30 days, or you’ll have to pay the full retail price.
Starlink’s Residential plans can hit download speeds up to 300Mbps and start at $80 per month for the Residential Lite plan. You’ll get unlimited data with both Residential plans, but the Residential Lite plan’s unlimited data is deprioritized.
| Plan | Price | Speed |
|---|---|---|
| Residential Lite | $80/mo.* | Up to 300Mbps |
| Residential | $120/mo.* | Up to 300Mbps |
* Plus hardware, shipping & handling fees, and tax. Fully refundable. Depending on location, some orders may take 2 weeks or more to fulfill.
Areas eligible for $0 Starlink hardware
Starlink’s plan and equipment prices vary, depending on where you live. But, if you’re fortunate enough to qualify for this deal, lock in your plan before the offer disappears. Starlink doesn’t disclose exactly what states or cities are eligible for this promotion, so you’ll have to verify directly on Starlink’s website if your address qualifies.

Start the holiday savings early—but hurry, this deal is only for a limited time
Starlink’s equipment is the biggest expense that will hit your wallet when signing up for Starlink. If you’re lucky enough to live in an area that’s eligible for this promotion, now’s the time to get a Starlink Residential plan and save $349. Starlink doesn’t require contracts, so if you don’t end up loving your Starlink service, you’ll just have to return the equipment. We don’t see Starlink deals often, so make the leap over to Starlink’s website if you’ve been waiting for a solid discount.
