Did your eyeballs pop out when the price of your internet suddenly rocketed to the moon? We feel your pain. Many internet providers reel you in with super-sweet low prices you can’t resist, only to punch you in the gut with crazy-high standard rates a year later.

But guess what? T-Mobile doesn’t do that. Nope. T-Mobile won’t raise your rate for internet (exclusions like taxes and fees apply). So, we say no more exploding bills! Fight back by using the button below to get started with locked-in internet.

Not convinced? Fine. Challenge accepted. Read on to find out more about T-Mobile’s Price Lock Guarantee and the qualifying plans.

What is the Price Lock Guarantee?

You know the deal. Many internet providers advertise low monthly rates, but the discounts usually come with a catch. Some offer internet discounts only for the first 12 months and then charge you a higher standard rate. They are hoping you won’t notice or won’t make the effort to switch.

Believe it or not, T-Mobile doesn’t do that. There is no introductory pricing. Instead, the price you pay for internet service on Day One won’t change unless you want a different plan (exclusions like taxes and fees apply). Sounds like a steal, doesn’t it?

Who can get T-Mobile’s Price Lock?

Starting December 11, 2024, customers who activate new 5G Home Internet service or switch to an eligible plan qualify for T-Mobile’s 5G Internet Price Lock. T-Mobile won’t raise your rate for internet (exclusions like taxes and fees apply).

Okay, so what plans qualify for Price Lock? Glad you asked. Learn more about which T-Mobile 5G Home Internet plans qualify.

What plans qualify for T-Mobile’s Price Lock?

Price Lock applies to most T-Mobile 5G fixed wireless plans. We’ll break them down by use case.

5G Home Internet

PackagePriceTypical download speeds
Rely Home Internet$50.00/mo.*
w/ AutoPay
87–318Mbps
Amplified Home Internet$60.00/mo.*
w/ AutoPay
133–415Mbps
All-In Home Internet$70.00/mo.*
w/ AutoPay
133–415Mbps

All three plans include the gateway you need to access T-Mobile’s 5G cellular network, unlimited data, and exclusive perks offered on T-Mobile Tuesdays.

The Rely plan covers all your typical internet needs without any additional benefits. It doesn’t use T-Mobile’s latest high-performance gateway, so its speed range is slightly lower than what you get with Amplified and All-In. But there’s definitely enough speed here for playing games online, streaming videos, and more.

All-In Home Internet is our favorite plan of the three. You get two streaming services on the house, an extra mesh Wi-Fi access point, and 24/7 interactive live assistance with video support.

AWAY: Internet on the road

AWAY™ 200GB Plan$110.00/mo.*

200GB
AWAY™ Unlimited Plan$160.00/mo.*

T-Mobile’s AWAY plans target digital nomads and frequent travelers. Think of AWAY as your home Wi-Fi network away from home. It allows you to share T-Mobile’s 5G internet with all your devices without enabling a hotspot. Both plans include the 5G gateway at no extra cost.

Current T-Mobile 5G Home Internet promotions

T-Mobile is currently offering two promotions for new customers who sign up for Amplified and All-In-Home Internet services. Click on a promo below to learn more about each.

Price Lock limitations

Yes, Price Lock has limitations. Here’s a list of charges it doesn’t cover:

  • Taxes and fees
  • Third-party services
  • Voluntary equipment upgrades
  • Select limited-time promotions
  • Upgrades to future wireless generations
  • Network management practices

No problemo, right? What Price Lock does keep at bay are crazy post-promo price hikes, as seen with many other providers. The only shocks we like are surprise birthday parties and wads of cash shoved in a hollow book (to name a few). Bye-bye, scary exploding bills!

So, what are you waiting for? Use the button below to get started with a flatlined internet rate! But if you’re nervous about making the switch, read on to learn about T-Mobile’s trial program!

Try before you buy

Whether you choose T-Mobile’s home or business 5G Internet, you can test it for 15 days. Your trial begins when you activate the service in the store (offline purchase) or when the 5G gateway ships (online purchase).

If you choose to cancel your service within 15 days after activation, simply contact T-Mobile to get your money back as a one-time bill credit. You must return the equipment within 45 days of cancellation to avoid the non-return fees.

Seriously, Bye-bye, skyrocketing rates

Look, we can’t stop harping about how T-Mobile doesn’t raise your internet rates. The price you pay on Day 1 is the same one you’ll pay tomorrow, the next day, and the day after that.

Still, T-Mobile’s Price Lock is just one of the reasons why you should switch to its 5G Home Internet service. With a great, affordable price, unlimited data, good speeds, and an easy setup, you simply can’t go wrong with T-Mobile. Plus, you can get some really cool perks, depending on the plan you choose.
