Grass Valley Residential Internet Coverage

Grass Valley is a relatively small community with high housing costs. Many of the white-collar workers have careers in the computers and math field. The middle-income residents are well-educated. In general, they use their internet services to advance their careers and plan vacations and other adventures. 99% of Grass Valley residents have access to high-speed internet compared to 94% of California as a whole.

Currently, cable internet and DSL are the only options. Xfinity has a monopoly on the cable market. DSL is provided by AT&T and New Edge Networks. New Edge Networks reaches 4% of residents between Dog Bar Rd. and Chalk Bluff Rd.

Xfinity is probably the best telecom company I have ever used. They have treated me so well I am spoiled from using any other company. I would never think of going anywhere else. I'm a customer for life.

This service is good enough for simple internet use, if you can put up with lagging and buffering. If you want a little faster speed you have to pay double. More than what Starlink is charging but for a lot less speed. They will have a hard time to compete in the future. Cant wait for Starlink in 2023.
