I will never go back to cable - fiber optic is far, far better. Absolutely no problems since it was installed.

I like that after the install I don't have to communicate with them. My service price hasn't changed and overall reliability is great. The improvement they could make is no outages and also to respect the outdoor spaces of homeowner's when installing the fiber cable.

I've been on Utopia/Xmission for 2 years. In that time the only outage I've had has been as a result of a power failure. I've never seen a slowdown of my internet service. I can only think of 1 time that I was notified that there would be an outage due to the ISP doing a facilities upgrade. The outage was scheduled for early morning on a Sunday which I'm sure most subscribers including myself would not be impacted by the facilities work. I can't think of anything my ISP could be doing better.

I have only had a problem once for which I had to consult customer service. The problem was very quickly resolved. All other problems were caused by conditions at my end.

I have giganet service but only get around 800 Mbps. This is adequate for my needs. When I experienced a slow down, they were very good to work with and the issue was resolved the next day.

it is faster than any others and at a reasonable price. rarely have any problems, if ever.

Installation is very involved because fiber cable is being run from the street all the way to the home. The process isn't difficult for the customer but a lot of work for the installers. Installers ran Ethernet throughout my home exactly where requested. Speeds have been awesome. I have 50M and never have any slowdowns or glitches.
