The service includes unlimited local and long-distance calling within the U.S. and standard features such as voicemail, caller ID, and two-way calling. Brightspeed doesn’t offer reduced-rate plans for low-income households, but you may qualify for a monthly credit of $9.25 (or more on tribal lands) if you use the federal Lifeline program. Qualifying users could get Brightspeed’s cheapest fiber plan for around $20 per month for the first six months and around $40 per month after that.
If you can get only DSL from Brightspeed, the cheapest plan comes to about $40 per month after the Lifeline discount.

Brightspeed internet fees
Brightspeed is one of the best providers out there when it comes to fees—there are almost none to worry about.
Two exceptions are installation fees, which may run you $99 if you need a pro to come out, and $15-monthly equipment charges if you have DSL internet.
