“So recently I upgraded to the New fiber Internet service by BrightSpeed. My service worked for 1 day. After calling and getting them aware of the service, immediately they began troubleshooting and trying to accommodate me for the problem. Although unbeknownst to myself, there was a fiber optic issue. After contacting my technician, he searched and confirmed there was an outage in this rural area. BrightSpeed sent out a new modem and wires for the box, and my technician Kemper xb03395 helped get everything set and programmed all by the time he got off. He definitely went above and beyond to assist and let me know, they stand by their work, equals service.”

Quite literally getting a 0.5 MB/s download speed which is obviously terrible. It really sucks living in a rural area and not having reliable internet, especially in todayās day and age.

Can only get Bright speed at my address. Max of 15 Mbps for $50/month. I lose internet for a whole day, sometimes 2 days at a time a couple times a month.

I am not surprised to see I am not the only one having an issue with Brightspeed. We scheduled a repair for our phone/internet over a month ago. The repair was scheduled for 8/28/2024 between 8am and 5pm. After waiting all day into the evening I realized they wouldn't be showing up. This is after getting updates confirming the repair was scheduled on my cell phone. on 8/29/2024 I tried to call and find out 1) why no one showed up and 2) to reschedule the repair. I was basically blown off by them. I then made an Informal Complaint to the FCC. By the end of the day Brightspeed told the FCC the Repair Issue had been resolved. Need less to say no repairs were made. In my opinion everyone should run from this company!

Use to be great getting speeds in the high 900's now only getting 200 on a good day and 50-80 the rest of the time. Paying for Fiber internet called them to troubleshoot and the problem is at the local hub but they wont send anyone to check. their call in customer support will tell you its your fault for the slow speed and to disconnect everything and only connect one thing at a time for best service. I did that and only got an extra 20Mbps avoid this service if you can. they are horrible..

Hurricane Beryl caused an outage. Brightspeed refuses to answer phones, provide any updates on services but the just had their nerve wanting their payments!!

The Internet goes out for days almost every month it's unreliable and extremely slow. Sometimes it just flickers on and off making it impossible to do anything.

Poor Quality Internet. While our Developer said we can use any internet provider, every other provider has told us they can't build over the network in our community. We're stuck with a poor service!

Worst customer service of any company of any kind that I have ever had to deal with. Ben the technician just didnāt show up for our appointment that we waited 10 days to get. Have to wait 14 days for another appointment. Lied and said no one was there to let him in when we were sitting on the front porch when Brightspeed was texting that he was there . Called multiple times and waiting on hold for half hour at a time.
