You can find out about Sparklight outages in four ways. First, sign up for text notifications. You can also sign into your account and check for a notification at the top of the page. If you can’t get internet service but there’s no notification, enter your address into the outage checker tool. If there’s no active account at the address you type, you won’t get an answer.

If you’re still having trouble and don’t see any outage notifications, use the account holder’s phone to contact tech support, and you’ll get an automated status update.

Cancel your Sparklight service

The easiest way to cancel your Sparklight service is to disconnect your Sparklight-owned equipment (usually a modem and router) and return it to a Sparklight store in person. If you can’t return your equipment, you may be able to schedule a technician pickup, but you’ll be charged a $45 convenience fee.

If you’re going to be away for a while but don’t want to cancel service entirely, you can place a seasonal hold.
