What people really say about T-Mobile Home Internet
Who knows T-Mobile better than the people who use its home internet service? Reading customer reviews can be a crucial step when choosing an internet provider. You get useful insights into common issues people have with their service, and you get insider info about the pros and cons (ok, mostly cons) of a service. Though sorting through angry reviews might dent your confidence in a company, you can learn a lot about what to expect from customer service, billing practices, and the best ways to fix problems if you run into them. Just remember to take them with a grain of salt.
“We have had T-Mobile for a couple of years and love it! There isn’t much else that really works out here, we do not live in town. We have only need help once and they handled it in the office. Sure, I would like it to cost less, but it is a fair price. Every once in a while it slows slightly, but overall, it works great for us!!”

Had Service since June of 2023. Internet started out good for the 1st 9 months. The last 6 months the speeds have been very slow and interruption of service has been frequent at least daily. Iāve called for service numerous times. Afterwards the reception would be good for a day or 2 then back to the poor reception..

I replaced Optimum as my ISP with T-Mobile when it became available, and I have never regretted doing it. I don't have constant price increases, and I don't have to call every year to cancel my service to get a reasonable price for the service. I had one morning last year when my internet speed was very low for about 60 minutes, which I attributed to equipment upgrade at the tower. Aside from that, I average 450 to 550 mbps download speeds. The upload is slower but that is of no concern to me. I have no intention of ever going back to Optimum and because of a family member who used Frontier for a time and experienced atrocious service and support, I will never consider using them at least until Verizon completes the takeover and then only if they offer a great package deal for their service which is highly doubtful.

This Cell-Tower Home Internet service has been fantastic. We generally get 5 gig service, without interruption.

T-mobile has oversold their service. Congestion on evenings and weekends causes unacceptable service. Calls for help are responded with " find another seevice".

It was fine at first with only occasional buffering. Now It's all the time. Gateway is less than 1 mile from a tower, but I loose the internet connection 2+ times per day. Download speeds? Laughable, no where near what is advertised. Tech support blames it on congestion. That's a t-mobile problem. No I can't recommend t-mobile as a reliable service. They over sell an area and then leave you hanging. If you should call support, do in the morning, otherwise you probably get offshore support and they are terrible.

Have had T-Mobile Wi Fi for a couple of years, Magenta Plan. The connection was consistent an usually VERY GOOD/EXCELLENT. Limited use, Computer, due to age, senior, 80, plus. Most activity is TV/ Streaming programs. Recently the signal 5G is FAIR, causing buffering of programs, sports etc. Resulting in missing significant events. The Tower is at the end of my street so I am assuming that the signal is being reduced to upgrade the signal for business customers....
