Called AT&T and specifically asked if fiber was at my given address. Rep stated that fiber was available to my house, I verified and the rep said confidently that it was available to my house and verified my address. I went online later and signed up for fiber. AT&T shipped out internet box and technician came out and connected my service. When I was trying to setup my internet I had to call in for technical support. The rep stated that I needed to connect the box to a telephone line...say what? I told him that I had signed up for fiber, he informed me that fiber was not in my area yet and that I had a 25 mbps connection. I informed him that I have over 10 wireless devices, not counting cell phone, tablet, computer, and that I work from home and do a lot of streaming, what was I supposed to do with 25 mbps? Needless to say, I canceled the service and returned the equipment the same day. The only good thing about this experience was that the rep who canceled my service was nice enough to cancel all charges as well. AT&T needs to be honest with its customers, what services are available, and what's actually available to them. Good customer service is more important than a quick sale that ends in an unhappy customer. This makes me rethink my AT&T cell phone service.

I needed my service switched to a new address. The appointment was made and then technicians never showed up. I called CS I was on the phone for over an hour. I spoke to at least 5 different people. In the end the guy in the equipment dept was very rude. I couldn’t handle his rudeness anymore and nothing was being accomplished so we said we’d call back another day.
