I've had Frontier FIOS for 14 months now and although I would love to switch to another provider, because of where I live I'm stuck with them. Their customer service is probably the worst I've ever experienced. Today I spent over 2 1/2 hrs on the phone with one of their technicians trying to determine why I didn't have internet service - during our conversation he suggested a 'fix' which ultimately crashed my system completely and then he said there was nothing they could do now to fix it, I needed to contact someone from Netgear. I asked to speak with a supervisor & was told someone would call me back in 15-20 min. Approx 2 1/2 hrs later I finally got a call from Frontier while I was on the phone with someone trying to fix the problem, so I did not answer the call immediately; they called again a few min later while I was still on the phone & then left a message saying that since I didn't respond to their call they were closing my ticket. When I called back 15 min later, explaining the situation, I was told that since I didn't respond to the supervisor's call when it was coming in, the only recourse I had was to send in a complaint in by mail. Remember - they caused the problem! 5 hrs after the beginning of this debacle, I finally called my son across the country and in less than 5 min he figured out the problem and got me up and going again. This is the 3rd or 4th time I've called with issues and although the other calls were less frustrating, I can't say I've ever had a good customer service experience with Frontier. What good is a speedy connection if it doesn't work and no one from Frontier knows how/or is willing to help? Unless you are very, very tech savvy and can fix problems on your own, if you have any other choice I recommend trying there first!

Easy to drop everything except FIOS internet. 50/50 is base service and is what I have. VoipLy phone service works great and so far the Frontier problems have gone away.

Absolutely horrible. spent over 2.5 hours on the phone and called multiple months advising multiple representatives that they have a fraud account tied to my comcast account . Yet I receive a bill with returned fee's for an account that was not set up by me and I had also advised them it was not my account. They tried to give me 25.00 credit for fee's that are way more than that and due to their error. I am working from home or I would cancel service today. Worst experience ever and hopefully I can get a different provider asap because this company does not follow up or take accountability for their mistakes. if I could give a 0.00 rating, I would..
