“So recently I upgraded to the New fiber Internet service by BrightSpeed. My service worked for 1 day. After calling and getting them aware of the service, immediately they began troubleshooting and trying to accommodate me for the problem. Although unbeknownst to myself, there was a fiber optic issue. After contacting my technician, he searched and confirmed there was an outage in this rural area. BrightSpeed sent out a new modem and wires for the box, and my technician Kemper xb03395 helped get everything set and programmed all by the time he got off. He definitely went above and beyond to assist and let me know, they stand by their work, equals service.”

Our internet went out on the 23rd of January. They didn't schedule an appointment with a technician until the 19th of February. That appointment was cancelled due to weather and the follow up appointment was the next day. 4 weeks without internet and they did nothing to help. I couldn't get a person on the phone and the window of time for the appointment was late as well. The technician was very nice and replaced the router. This could have been done earlier if they would have given me a person to talk to but instead, they scheduled an appointment 4 weeks out and fixed something they could have done if only there was a decent customer service department to talk to.

Brightspeed cannot keep the service working, when it goes out it is out for days. Customer service is very poor. Not helpful at all!

By far the worst provider of internet services. Double billing, communication issue i.e. language and comprehension issues, 5 months of overbilling, having to call for 5 month in hopes of correcting the ongoing issues, I could go on... Bottom line find another company. Issues Still NOT resolved !!!

Quite literally getting a 0.5 MB/s download speed which is obviously terrible. It really sucks living in a rural area and not having reliable internet, especially in todayās day and age.

Can only get Bright speed at my address. Max of 15 Mbps for $50/month. I lose internet for a whole day, sometimes 2 days at a time a couple times a month.

I am not surprised to see I am not the only one having an issue with Brightspeed. We scheduled a repair for our phone/internet over a month ago. The repair was scheduled for 8/28/2024 between 8am and 5pm. After waiting all day into the evening I realized they wouldn't be showing up. This is after getting updates confirming the repair was scheduled on my cell phone. on 8/29/2024 I tried to call and find out 1) why no one showed up and 2) to reschedule the repair. I was basically blown off by them. I then made an Informal Complaint to the FCC. By the end of the day Brightspeed told the FCC the Repair Issue had been resolved. Need less to say no repairs were made. In my opinion everyone should run from this company!

Use to be great getting speeds in the high 900's now only getting 200 on a good day and 50-80 the rest of the time. Paying for Fiber internet called them to troubleshoot and the problem is at the local hub but they wont send anyone to check. their call in customer support will tell you its your fault for the slow speed and to disconnect everything and only connect one thing at a time for best service. I did that and only got an extra 20Mbps avoid this service if you can. they are horrible..
