EarthLink offers various types of plans, including DSL, fiber, and wireless. Because it rents space on other providers’ networks to reach its customers, the speed and reliability of its connections vary depending on location.
Of its wide range of plans, EarthLink’s fiber plans offer the best value for both speed and reliability. Like most fiber providers, it offers several expensive multi-gig plans but also has fiber plans at lower speeds that are one of the best choices for getting a fiber connection on a budget.

EarthLink doesn’t offer as many discounts and promotions as other nationwide providers. Combined with its slightly higher prices, it’s usually not the provider to go with if you’re looking for a huge sale.
The main selling point for EarthLink is the customer experience. EarthLink aims to be more pleasant to deal with and be more responsive when problems arise. If that difference sounds like it’d be worth it to you, then EarthLink might be just what you’re looking for. And a few perks on top certainly wouldn’t be bad either.
