Verizon offers 5G Home plans in much of its 5G coverage area, with some plans reaching speeds of up to 1Gbps (1,000Mbps). For those who don’t live in areas with 5G coverage, Verizon also offers 4G LTE plans, which are much more widely available.

You get a discount on internet when you bundle your home internet service with select 5G mobile plans. It’s a significant discount, so home internet is an incredible deal if you’ve already got a Verizon phone (just make sure you have a plan that qualifies).
Deals for low-income households
Verizon Forward is a discount program that provides qualifying customers with Verizon Home Internet services at a discounted price. You may qualify for the Verizon Forward discount if you participate in certain Federal Assistance programs such as SNAP. The discount will appear on your bill as a monthly credit of up to $30.

Verizon 5G Home Internet doesn’t have a ton of plan options. Deals and promotions also come up far less often than they do for Verizon’s Fios fiber plans. But you also get the convenience of a plan with no long-term contracts, hidden fees, or data caps. Additional savings are just icing on the cake.
Deals from other providers
Verizon goes hard when it comes to deals and promos. When you sign up for Verizon’s Fios or 5G Home Internet services, you can get Verizon gift cards, trials for Disney+, and more.
Combine your Verizon internet plan with a qualifying unlimited phone plan, and you get set up for even sweeter discounts—including $25 monthly off the normal, non-Verizon-subscriber price for a 5G Home plan or a Fios internet plan.
Topping it all off, Verizon also has no data caps on its fiber and 5G home internet plans and doesn’t charge for equipment or setup.

Verizon doesn’t gouge you on fees—but there are some fees you might have to pay.
First off, here’s what you don’t have to pay.

Alright, now here’s the fees you do have to pay.

It’s not likely you actually have to deal with any of these extra charges from Verizon. Signing up for AutoPay means you don’t have to worry about late fees, and you can waive the setup charge for Fios simply by ordering online.
If you live in a home with a large layout—or if you want Wi-Fi in your backyard—you can pay extra for a Wi-Fi extender to cover more ground. You can also buy a router directly from Verizon, but we wouldn’t recommend it because the router is super expensive. You’re better off buying your own Wi-Fi router.
