I have the best package available from AT&T, I get (on a good day) 10Mbs down and 1Mbs or less upload. They are slow to respond to any issue. Call wait time for help is some of the worst anywhere. I have had service with them for a long time. I am looking for other carriers for my landline and wireless. I am also considering other options for Internet. I have paid a premium price for poor service too long.

I was told I’m a valued customer, well the customer service EXPERIENCE for ATT WAS NOT I RECEIVED WAS NOT SO GREAT. I had a 2 year agreement on my Direct TV bundle package, which included TV, internet and home phone. My 2 year agreement was about to expire so I called to inquire what deals they could offer me to stay or should I just go ahead and switch. Mind you, I have never really called during this 2 years except maybe twice to report service issues. On my recent call, I spoke with a Rene who passed me off to Akeem without me knowing who hung up on me and stated he was a supervisor. ???? I called back and got Laura who passed me off to a John/ sup., who advised he would work on a deal and call me back the next day and that didn’t happen. I called back the next day and advised what happened, spoke to Mario, not helpful who passed me off to Francisco, who hung up on me. Worst customer service I’ve ever encountered. I finally called back and spoke with a Maria who was patient and took the time out to assist me. Now I’m really considering changing all my ATT services, including phone to a different provider. Never missed a payment and this is how I get treated!????

See internet providers in nearby cities.

Live in a small town or suburb outside of Hillsboro? We got you covered, too.

Methodology

HighSpeedInternet.com compares internet providers within cities and metro areas to give customers the most relevant insights into their internet options. When comparing providers, we consider the following:

  • Provider coverage areas
  • Advertised speeds
  • Real-world speeds (speed test data)
  • Customer feedback
  • Other relevant localized data

We source localized coverage data displayed on our coverage maps from the FCC coverage database, which is updated every six months. For the most current summary of providers in your area, we recommend you use our zip code search tool, which offers the most recent coverage data straight from internet service providers (ISPs).

Our city overviews compare advertised provider speeds. We may also include real-world speed data gathered from millions of annual speed test results. To process our speed test data, we first filter out outliers and providers with low test counts. We then calculate speed averages with every ISP subject to the same parameters.

We gather ISP customer feedback data from our comprehensive annual surveys and direct customer feedback submitted to HighSpeedInternet.com. Unless stated otherwise, average ratings are calculated nationally.
