In all fairness CenturyLink is only a phone company in my area, and phone lines have low data throughput. I’m grateful to have any internet at all out here in the sticks, but speed and, more importantly, reliability are terrible. I eagerly await the arrival of fiber optic to my road.

Absolute worst internet service I’ve ever had. They messed up the billing, and after I went through a long and protracted dispute via the fcc they finally agreed the give me service at the rate we agreed upon before we had to bring the government into it. It has forever since been less than half the advertised speed, and of course we can’t be right about the reduction in speed since we remedied things because it’s all normal network congestion.... worst provider I’ve ever had.
