Chandler Residential Internet Coverage

Located between three of the largest metropolitan areas in Arizona, Chandler enjoys coverage from many local and national internet service providers.

Fiber service is expanding quickly in Chandler, currently available through Centurylink Prism in most of the city's largest neighborhoods. Neighborhoods that fall outside the service area include Arden Park, Carino Estates, and Saguaro Canyon, and Lantana Ranch. DSL is available through CenturyLink in all of Chandler.

TW Telecom reaches the northern neighborhoods of Clemente Ranch, Arden Park, Ocotillo, and Sunwest Trails, but is not available any farther south than Fox Crossing.

Western Broadband brings service to most of Chandler's southern areas, including Lagos Vistoso, Cooper Commons, Sun River, and Sun Groves.

Through Ygnition Networks, the far eastern neighborhoods of Peterson Farms and Paseo Trail have high-speed internet coverage.

While Megapath offers service to the entirety of the city, Level 3 Communications service is available north of Saguaro Canyon.

Last, the Cogent Communication network serves those in northcentral Chandler.

In theory, WeLink is great! In practice, it is terrible! Any tiny bit of wind and internet is gone. Zero reliability of service. If you use this make sure you have a backup provider!

I stopped using cox about ten years ago because they don’t collect payments on their end that are made on time in my end until they can start racking on fees. Since using them again the last 4 months they have reamed me for double what I signed for. They are sneaky, rude and not for their customers. They unethical money grabbers.

For nearly twice as much money as my phone bill monthly I get speeds that are slower than my phone. Their infrastructure's ability to provide "Up to...Mbps" is in no way indicative of the service that they provide and the price point shows only that there are too few competitors in the area. I have been unable to watch internet TV without buffering occurring roughly every ten minutes and surfing the web is just plain frustrating when you have to wait for pages to reload or for the connection to come back before continuing on with what you were doing. Upon calling for the frequent downtime (multiple times a day, though for relatively short periods of time) I have been told more than once simply that they "have no outages in the area". Customer service is polite but rarely helpful. Nice employees, spotty service, high prices.

Centurylink is hot garbage but that’s offensive to hot garbage. We are forced to have this provider at our location and it makes me want to move, that’s how terrible it is. Customer service doesn’t exist so good luck ever talking to someone.

Methodology

HighSpeedInternet.com compares internet providers within cities and metro areas to give customers the most relevant insights into their internet options. When comparing providers, we consider the following:

  • Provider coverage areas
  • Advertised speeds
  • Real-world speeds (speed test data)
  • Customer feedback
  • Other relevant localized data

We source localized coverage data displayed on our coverage maps from the FCC coverage database, which is updated every six months. For the most current summary of providers in your area, we recommend you use our zip code search tool, which offers the most recent coverage data straight from internet service providers (ISPs).

Our city overviews compare advertised provider speeds. We may also include real-world speed data gathered from millions of annual speed test results. To process our speed test data, we first filter out outliers and providers with low test counts. We then calculate speed averages with every ISP subject to the same parameters.

We gather ISP customer feedback data from our comprehensive annual surveys and direct customer feedback submitted to HighSpeedInternet.com. Unless stated otherwise, average ratings are calculated nationally.
