Tempe Residential Internet Coverage

With its convenient location between Mesa and Phoenix, it's no surprise that the city of Tempe has many established internet service providers. Fiber is currently expanding in this region.

Currently, Centurylink Prism offers coverage to the neighborhoods of East Rio, West Rio, and Indian Bend in the north. CenturyLink has a much larger DESL network that brings service to all of Tempe.

Through Ygnition Networks, several communities throughout Tempe have access to high-speed service. The network reaches Daley Park and University Estates in the north, stops briefly in the central part of the state, and picks back up in the southern neighborhoods of Wood Park, Pepperwood, and Tempe Royal Estates.

National provider TW Telecom has a similar coverage area, with coverage available south of Holdeman and Marilyn Ann. Certain eastern neighborhoods, like Shalimar and McClintock, fall outside the service area.

Megapath and Level 3 Communications both have a huge presence in Tempe, bringing consistent service to the entirety of the city.

Century Link in my area is pathetic. Customer service is terrible as well. Calling them to get any form of help is tedious because the prompts are very inefficient, in that they have you going around in circles then the automated system will hang up on you if you reach a "dead end". I have had several representatives hang up on me. If you can find a better ISP, I suggest you do so.

If you can go with another Carrier I suggest you do so. Im currently looking myself. As previous reviews stated, rude and slow connection and over priced. Not to mention their service is constantly down.

I have had internet service several years and within the last year my price has increased 4 times. I have looked into other services but I have not found a solution. Hopefully someone will come up with better service and more reasonable prices.

Pros- The connection speed is good and they have good reliability. Cons- High prices, poor customer service Overall quality of internet connection is good but they have very poor customer service. After the internet service was installed it took me sever days and phone conversation to get another technician over to my house to have the inter properly installed so that I could have service. I also was not prorated for the days of unused service. They have a high starting price and they often raise the monthly price. I hope you found this review helpful.

One star is too much for this service. Streaming video's is ninety percent of the time impossible. When you call customer service the supervisor is not around, and the problem doesn't get fixed. I have called with this complaint more than twenty times in the last three years. I'm stuck with this service, therefore I have to move when my lease is up. I pay dollars a month for a lot of frustration.
