However, you won’t reach an agent immediately. You must navigate a few automated menus first, so be sure to say “representative” right away. The system will then ask what your call is about to send you to the correct department.

Verizon’s customer service phone line has limited hours of operation outside of business hours:

To speak with someone in person, you can use the Verizon store locator to find a nearby store in your area. This tool gives you options to schedule an appointment or manage existing appointments. Just click the appropriate link and follow the instructions.
You can also open the My Verizon Mobile app and tap the “Appointments” button at the bottom of the home screen. This will give you the same tools available in the store locator.

If there’s an outage in your area, you can sign into your account to confirm that there’s an outage impacting your service and be assigned a ticket with the estimated time your service will be restored. You can check the status of an existing repair request or update your request by visiting verizon.com/CheckStatus.
In the event of an emergency in your area, you can sign into your account or check the Verizon news center to keep customers up to date on network recovery efforts and community support.
The My Verizon app for iOS and Android also displays outage information in your area. You can tap on “View Outage Details” to get more info or request a callback when the outage ends.

Pay your Verizon bill
There are multiple ways to pay your Verizon bill:
- Pay online at Verizon.com.
- Pay by check or money order mailed to the Verizon address listed on your statement.
- Pay on the My Verizon app.
- Pay in person at Verizon stores or third-party payment centers.
- Pay through your bank.
