DO NOT use Spectrum as your service provider. I paid my phone bill only for them to cancel my service. Turns out they have a new billing system and they confused my account with someone else’s. I was on hold for NEARLY 2hrs trying to speak to a supervisor, but only one person was in front of me……customer service is extremely poor. Changing my service provider immediately!!!!!
I think Spectrum has only gone down 2 times since I've had them, which is about 10ish years. Speeds can slow down a bit during peak hours but it's nothing a typical user will notice. Two of my friends who have AT&T Fiber, pay for 300mbps but only get 20mbps most of the time with frequent outages, usually at least once a day. The only downside I'd say about Spectrum is they don't have Fiber, which kind of makes their Gigabit plan pointless.
Our service comes and goes. When speaking to customer service they want to move us to a higher priced package. They can never explain how that will keep us from losing service and having to reboot the system several times a week.
