Through AT&T, customers throughout the city can choose fiber internet or DSL internet. DSL internet is currently more widely available than fiber internet. Service stretches from Plain Center Estates in the north to Southwest in the southern part of the city.

Frontier Communications has a slightly more limited service map, reaching Fairgrounds, the 4th Ward, East Lincoln, and Cherry Avenue.

High-speed cable is also available through Time Warner Cable, which serves almost all of Canton. Spectrum's up time at the time of this post has been great. There only a very times when service is disrupted. Their speed is better than it was, but unfortunately it can not compete with the true fiber. For the service that I am receiving, Spectrum is charging more than the Fiber competitor in my zip code. The Fiber competitor is in 83 percent of my zip code. The competitor is available all around me but not where I live. If the competitor was available in my neighborhood, I would be leaving Spectrum for much faster speeds and cheaper prices. I will say the I have seen some more constant speeds with Spectrum but I am not happy with the upload speeds that they give you. The world has changed and many people now work from home where upload speeds are just as important as download speeds for things like file transfer.

Intermittent internet on a daily basis. Spectrum refuses to believe it is their problem. All cables, connections, modem have been replaced. The last technician, had 6 or 7- lost count, claims the problem is with my “electric “.

I plan to never use spectrum again, if I can help it. The service was in and out 24/7. If I was using one device like my desk top, the internet to cell phones and TV/s would dis-connect over and over. Once I hit a year, my bill went up. Every time I call there is an estimated hold time and I end up on hold waiting for 25+ minutes. Just do not recommend at all.
