Speed is a problem with these guys, for example most days 150 to 300 mps the other times 7 to 80 mps. Upload is from non existing (.7) to 7.5 mps. Now saying that, it sounds pretty good, but keep in mind overall in a 30 day period it's all over the place.

Approximately 4 months ago, they raised my price from 96 dollars a month to 101 dollars a month. The month after that they raised it to 106 dollars a month for no explaination. I complained, it was reduced back to 96 dollars. This month they went back up to 106 again. I've been a customer for over 30 years. Is that the way they treat long time customers? I just have the internet and 1 home phone connection, which is all I need, but somehow they manage to raise the price for no reason.

I was charged more than the amount quoted to me. Person who sold me the package gave me his phone # but won't return my calls. Service representative, Anthony Calderin, also won't return my calls. 800 # they gave me kept hanging up on me. Terrible Service!

Charter seems to be the best available internet here in Easley. However, they are far from great. The internet randomly shuts off for a period (usually when I am in the middle of a tv show or VOIP phone conversation). These outages have lasted from a couple of minutes to several hours and occur almost daily. I work from home and the fact that I can't have reliable service for is discouraging.
