Service is great. However, I require a public IP address and they sometimes switch you to Carrier-Grade NAT which does not work if you have the need to access systems remotely. C-Spire has changed my service twice already and I have had to call to have them to change it back. The process of changing it back can take about 45 minutes. Hopefully, it won't be changed again.

Have had C Spire fiber internet for two months and it has worked very well. Installation was professional and the service is affordable. Previously was an AT&T customer and switched due to them not being available in my area. I am very glad I ended up with C Spire it hasn’t had any glitches or issues! Customer service is super nice and helpful also!

I've been a customer of Comcast now for over a decade, and for the most part I have been very pleased with them. My internet speeds have been top notch easily achieving the 50mbps that I pay for every month, and have experienced very little downtime (which is usually in the middle of the night due to maintenance and such). I have had a few problems with customer service, as I have received letters stating that I should be paying extra for an outlet that I do not have, but CS was accommodating and removed the charges promptly. I think the pricing structure is solid, but the ideology of trying to push VoIP on every customer is aggravating at times. All in all though, I feel like I definitely get what I pay for and feel like Comcast is a good company for providing my internet needs.

This absolutely the Worst company for internet service! Not only is the internet service itself is subpar (runs slow constantly have to reboot the system) but the customer service reps as well as the techs are Horrible! I was told they would have a tech @ my house between 1-5pm why its 6:07pm & no one from the company has reached out to me to say anything! I've tried reaching them by phone, email, text msg, & chat & have yet been able to reach anyone! This company is joke!!

CenturyLink has been very good for quite some time. But things have changed. They are clearly limiting Internet speeds to a fraction of the speed that you are paying for. On top of that, they deny that they are and try to upsell you on higher speeds. Time of CenturyLink to go away and allow us to have a good Internet service provider instead.

Methodology

HighSpeedInternet.com compares internet providers within cities and metro areas to give customers the most relevant insights into their internet options. When comparing providers, we consider the following:

  • Provider coverage areas
  • Advertised speeds
  • Real-world speeds (speed test data)
  • Customer feedback
  • Other relevant localized data

We source localized coverage data displayed on our coverage maps from the FCC coverage database, which is updated every six months. For the most current summary of providers in your area, we recommend you use our zip code search tool, which offers the most recent coverage data straight from internet service providers (ISPs).

Our city overviews compare advertised provider speeds. We may also include real-world speed data gathered from millions of annual speed test results. To process our speed test data, we first filter out outliers and providers with low test counts. We then calculate speed averages with every ISP subject to the same parameters.

We gather ISP customer feedback data from our comprehensive annual surveys and direct customer feedback submitted to HighSpeedInternet.com. Unless stated otherwise, average ratings are calculated nationally.
