In eastern Ohio, the city of Warren is growing steadily. As the city expands, the demand for high-speed internet is also on the rise. That's why there are several options for residents and businesses.

A popular option in Warren is AT&T. Those who live in Warren enjoy fiber internet, DSL, or both, depending on their neighborhood. Service reaches Wildare in the north and stops in the central part of the city, picking up in the southern neighborhoods of downtown, Bolindale, and DeForest Junction.

Through CenturyLihk, the vast majority of Warren has consistent high-speed internet coverage. The network stretches to reach Wildare in the north, Leavitt in the west, DeForest Junction in the south, and Venice Heights in the east.

Time Warner Spectrum offers an even larger network. It spans all of Warren's neighborhoods, covers some northern communities, and runs past the city limits to the east and west.

Very poor customer service and service reliability. I'm writing this review using my Verizon iPhone hotspot because Spectrum internet service is out again. Spectrum's infrastructure and reliability are substandard and service goes out every time the wind picks up. Device restoration takes 3 or 4 days. I would switch service providers in a heartbeat if Verizon, AT&T, or Optimum were in the area, but they aren't. The day those providers become available Spectrum will be history at my house.

Reliability of Spectrum Internet Service is spotty. Very poor infrastructure which affects reliability. Frequent outages for prolonged periods of time. Repair technicians are not adequate to service customers in a reasonable amount of time. Unfortunately, reliable providers such as Verizon are not available in my area. The day they become available Spectrum will be history at my home.

Costomer service is always nice and try to be helpful and I can't complain about the speed of the internet. However, I lose service on a regular basis. Also, the TV app buffers a lot. I don't know if it's the app or the service. Plus my main TV is a FireTV and I have to rent a box for it because Spectrum's greed, I mean app won't work with Fire products.

We pay for high speed internet. It is advertised at 200 mbps when in reality we are lucky to get 35 mbps per second. Streaming is very iffy if at all. Very dissatisfied.

Methodology

HighSpeedInternet.com compares internet providers within cities and metro areas to give customers the most relevant insights into their internet options. When comparing providers, we consider the following:

  • Provider coverage areas
  • Advertised speeds
  • Real-world speeds (speed test data)
  • Customer feedback
  • Other relevant localized data

We source localized coverage data displayed on our coverage maps from the FCC coverage database, which is updated every six months. For the most current summary of providers in your area, we recommend you use our zip code search tool, which offers the most recent coverage data straight from internet service providers (ISPs).

Our city overviews compare advertised provider speeds. We may also include real-world speed data gathered from millions of annual speed test results. To process our speed test data, we first filter out outliers and providers with low test counts. We then calculate speed averages with every ISP subject to the same parameters.

We gather ISP customer feedback data from our comprehensive annual surveys and direct customer feedback submitted to HighSpeedInternet.com. Unless stated otherwise, average ratings are calculated nationally.
