Irving Residential Internet Coverage

In Irving, there are plenty of choices for fiber, DSL, and cable internet, including residential and business plans.

One of the largest fiber internet providers in this area is Frontier, which covers most of Irving in its service area. Some parts of northeastern Irving are not in this company's service area, including Waterside Drive and Royal Lane.

AT&T has a growing fiber network in this area as well, in addition to its speedy DSL network. AT&T coverage begins north of West Airport Freeway, with coverage available in a few areas south of this area. In the north, service is available up to Northgate Drive in the west and past Northwest Highway in the northeast.

Via Frontier Communications, all of Irving's western neighborhoods have access to high-speed internet. Most of the city's eastern neighborhoods are part of this network, excluding again a handful of northeastern neighborhoods.

For cable internet fans, one of the most established internet providers in Irving is Time Warner Cable, which offers coverage to the entire city. Their network runs as far west as Estelle, as far east as O_Connor Boulevard, as far south as Shady Grove Road, and as far north as Cowboys Parkway.

I don't recommend as prices are very high and keep on increasing every month. Not stable and drops frequently. Customer service is very bad.

Service constantly goes out. Went form 60 to 70 a month for 300 mbps. Like literally at least 3-4 times a day and 2-3x a week I have to deal with outages. They should be ashamed of themselves for selling this garbage. My apt complex just recently got att and I found out that about 80% of the people here switched to att, not bc of bow good att it but rather bc of how complete and utter trash spectrum is.

I have outrageously priced cable (basic) and internet. For the last 2 years (2021-2023) it has absolutely sucked in every way. Cable cuts in and out 50 times a day. Wi-Fi also cuts out or has massive lag time daily. The cost was bad enough when things were working less horribly. But paying exorbitant rate for services that only work 50% of the time is criminal. Customer service is no help. What can they do when it’s the greedy heads that set pricing and ignore issues.

Service - They literally don't care. 800 Numbers - Good luck you can get nothing done. Service technicians - They are partners of Spectrum and they are not good friends with Spectrum. What is promised is totally not going to happen. Avoid.

AT&T

Jane L | 03-08-2015

I have DSL service with AT&T for 15 years. Most of the time, I have had acceptable high speed internet. I cannot get UVERSE here in my home because Verizon owns the wires and because I insist on having service with AT&T, the wires are leased to AT&T whom leases to me. I have had my share of issues with speed. I do understand the limitations of this DSL line. I had a bad experience with Verizon a number of years back and that is why I do not use their service. I am becoming dissatisfied with my dsl now. There is some kind of problem between my computer and their connection before it comes into my home. I am getting very tired of having to call in and reporting a problem. If only the connection would remain at the speed as promised, then all would be well. I keep having a DNS error probe in the connection and also I am not pingable. I have several email accounts with AT&T and this becomes a big hassle when trying to change internet providers. My account is a special account with AT&T as most of the tenants in the whole community are using Verizon. I am not sure AT&T wants to keep my business. I wished we could work it out but, I am paying too much for what I am getting.
