Cypress Residential Internet Coverage

Sitting just short of the Pacific Ocean, Cypress residents enjoy the suburban luxury lifestyle while still being able to ride to the beach with no problem. However, other problems, such as an internet provider, plaque Cypress with the limited options.

AT&T services most of Cypress communities with DSL internet, having download speeds traditionally 24 Mbps but can go as high as 75 Mbps. However, residences near Los Alamitos and Garden Grove may be ineligible for this service.

While the communities in the southern end of Cypress can't have AT&T, most will have access to Frontier Communications instead, with download speeds up to 15 Mbps.

Time Warner Spectrum caters to all of Cypress, from the northern residences in Forest Lawn Cypress to the southern ones as far down as Santa Rita Avenue. This company boasts residences can have around 300 Mbps of download speed.

Lastly, HughesNet has a large presence and can cater their services to anyone, in any location. They only require residences to have a clear view of the sky on the south side of the roof. This is where the satellite will go up to give you satellite internet with speeds up to 15 Mbps.

very unreliable, outages seem to happen all the time and they just continue to tell you to reset your devices, if that fails you must return and get new equipment with credits of very little for the time their service is failing.

The worst customer service I've ever experienced with an internet provider. Ripped me off for an extra $100 per month for service I never ordered. And then refused to credit me back the full erroneous charge. I'll never use them again.

ATT is the worst provider I have ever experienced. They overcharge every month and their billing is a shell-game juggling act. The online statements do not match the paper statements and the emailed statements. I spend several hours a month on the phone with their agents trying to get the phone bill back down to where it is supposed to be and it is a waste of time. The next month, the game starts all over again and they overcharge, overcharge, and overcharge. They broke their agreement in their contract at the get-go when they quoted me a bundle price and then charged several hundred dollars more. Each month, the same issue over and over - overcharging. I recorded everything conversation on video and took notes and so there is no denying their lies and coverups. I will take it to the Better Business Bereau. Everyone who has been ripped off by them should do the same. It is the worst experience ever.

See internet providers in nearby cities.

Live in a small town or suburb outside of Cypress? We got you covered, too.

Methodology

HighSpeedInternet.com compares internet providers within cities and metro areas to give customers the most relevant insights into their internet options. When comparing providers, we consider the following:

  • Provider coverage areas
  • Advertised speeds
  • Real-world speeds (speed test data)
  • Customer feedback
  • Other relevant localized data

We source localized coverage data displayed on our coverage maps from the FCC coverage database, which is updated every six months. For the most current summary of providers in your area, we recommend you use our zip code search tool, which offers the most recent coverage data straight from internet service providers (ISPs).

Our city overviews compare advertised provider speeds. We may also include real-world speed data gathered from millions of annual speed test results. To process our speed test data, we first filter out outliers and providers with low test counts. We then calculate speed averages with every ISP subject to the same parameters.

We gather ISP customer feedback data from our comprehensive annual surveys and direct customer feedback submitted to HighSpeedInternet.com. Unless stated otherwise, average ratings are calculated nationally.
