Riverside Residential Internet Coverage
Riverside is one of the largest cities in California, and it's home to many established businesses and retail areas that rely on access to internet. Within this city, customers can choose from cable, fiber, DSL, and satellite providers.
Through Frontier, several eastern Riverside neighborhoods have access to fiber internet. Covered neighborhoods include Hunter Industrial Park and Canyon Crest. Service is unavailable west of the downtown area. The DSL network provided by Frontier Communications is similar, limited only to eastern Riverside.
AT&T has a major presence in Riverside; the combined fiber and DSL networks cover almost all of the city, excluding Canyon Springs and Sycamore Canyon Park.
Cable is widely available through Time Warner Cable. This company offers service as far west as La Sierra, as far east as Canyon Springs, as far north as Northside, and as far south as Orangecrest. Some northwestern neighborhoods fall outside the service area; this includes Arlanza and La Sierra Acres. Rival cable provider Charter offers cable coverage to almost all of Riverside.
Through New Edge Networks, those in many key Riverside neighborhoods can choose high-speed plans. There are some gaps in coverage, primarily in the northeastern and southeastern parts of the city.
