Temecula Residential Internet Coverage

Temecula's over 112,000 residents have access to multiple internet providers that offer fiber optics, cable, DSL, satellite or fixed wireless internet.

Residents interested in high-speed download speeds with fiber optics internet have access via Frontier Communications. Advertising speeds up to 300 Mbps, most communities from the east of Interstate 55 expanding toward Valle De Los Caballos and South Park will be serviceable. However, those located on the southern and western ends of the downtown extending down to Palomar Mountains won't have access to Frontier fiber optics.

Only those located within the immediate area of Los Ranchitos will have access to Frontier Communications' DSL services. This is a smaller range than offered with their fiber optics service and offers smaller download speeds, advertising maximum speeds at around 15 Mbps.

Time Warner Cable Spectrum offers extended cable coverage that spans throughout most of Temecula. Advertising speeds up to 300 Mbps, this is one of the fastest download speeds available, where most residents do receive these speeds. Residents on the western side of Temecula, near Wildomar and Fallbrook are unserviceable.

GlobalCapacity offers a small amount of DSL coverage to residents on the western end of Temecula. They advertise the slowest download speeds, with the highest being 6 Mbps. HughesNet also offers slower download speeds as a satellite internet provider, with speeds between 3-to-15 Mbps. However, HughesNet is offered throughout Temecula.

Live in a small town or suburb outside of Temecula? We got you covered, too.

Methodology

HighSpeedInternet.com compares internet providers within cities and metro areas to give customers the most relevant insights into their internet options. When comparing providers, we consider the following:

  • Provider coverage areas
  • Advertised speeds
  • Real-world speeds (speed test data)
  • Customer feedback
  • Other relevant localized data

We source localized coverage data displayed on our coverage maps from the FCC coverage database, which is updated every six months. For the most current summary of providers in your area, we recommend you use our zip code search tool, which offers the most recent coverage data straight from internet service providers (ISPs).

Our city overviews compare advertised provider speeds. We may also include real-world speed data gathered from millions of annual speed test results. To process our speed test data, we first filter out outliers and providers with low test counts. We then calculate speed averages with every ISP subject to the same parameters.

We gather ISP customer feedback data from our comprehensive annual surveys and direct customer feedback submitted to HighSpeedInternet.com. Unless stated otherwise, average ratings are calculated nationally.
