Upland Residential Internet Coverage

The community of Upland is one of the most expensive places to live in the country. Residents are both blue- and white-collar, working in administrative support and management roles. They tend to be quite well-educated and ethnically diverse. Nearly 40% of Upland residents are of Hispanic or Latino descent. In addition, nearly 20% of the population was born outside the United States. They rely on their internet connection to stay in touch with loved ones and pursue career goals.

Time Warner Spectrum is the sole cable internet provider in the area and provides services to 100% of residents. Between I-10 and N Mountain Ave., Frontier provides fiber optics to 67% of homes and DSL to 51% of residents. In that same area, New Edge Networks offers 1% of residents an alternative DSL hook up.

Business users in the area have several additional options for copper wire and fiber optics. All of them reach less than 5% of businesses.

Great service when it works. Call technical support about twice a month because it keeps dropping. A little on the pricey side. Sometimes my internet will drop for two weeks at a time and tech support cannot find out what went wrong.

Do not get service with spectrum. These are the reason why. They only offer you the first year low rate as a new member after that their price will be increasing really fast. There will be no deal for you after that as well. The internet speed is horrible you can only use the WIFI is you are on the same floor. If you have two floor house, you need to get an extender in other to use it. The customer service is horrible as well. They don't tell you clear information that you can understand, so you end up paying for one extra month with out using their service even you call in to cancel it. In general they are only nice to you if you are not their customer. Otherwise, they don't really care about you at all. No matter how much you complain about their service. They will just send someone to take a look but nothing will be solved. Do not get your service hook up with Spectrum, there are other better provider out there.

Live in a small town or suburb outside of Upland? We got you covered, too.

Methodology

HighSpeedInternet.com compares internet providers within cities and metro areas to give customers the most relevant insights into their internet options. When comparing providers, we consider the following:

  • Provider coverage areas
  • Advertised speeds
  • Real-world speeds (speed test data)
  • Customer feedback
  • Other relevant localized data

We source localized coverage data displayed on our coverage maps from the FCC coverage database, which is updated every six months. For the most current summary of providers in your area, we recommend you use our zip code search tool, which offers the most recent coverage data straight from internet service providers (ISPs).

Our city overviews compare advertised provider speeds. We may also include real-world speed data gathered from millions of annual speed test results. To process our speed test data, we first filter out outliers and providers with low test counts. We then calculate speed averages with every ISP subject to the same parameters.

We gather ISP customer feedback data from our comprehensive annual surveys and direct customer feedback submitted to HighSpeedInternet.com. Unless stated otherwise, average ratings are calculated nationally.
