The sprawling city of Fort Myers runs near to the coast. Within this large city, there are multiple internet service providers that provide the homes and businesses of Florida with reliable internet.

One of the primary fiber internet providers in Fort Myers is Centurylink Prism, which provides fiber service to nearly all of Fort Myers. However, the neighborhoods of Gateway and Eagle Pointe are not within this company_s service area.

The coverage area of CenturyLink is slightly larger, spanning all of Fort Myers and extending into all of the city_s surrounding areas.

High-speed cable is available through Xfinity. Through this provider, people as far north as Fort Myers Shores and as far south as San Carlos Park enjoy fast cable service. Just changed carrier from Comcast (HOA decision) and by comparison to speed, complexity, more outages, and lack of phone support, Hotwire is the worst of the two.

Had it for about a month. Internet speed is good, outages have been few, but it's not the rainy season yet. TV is TERRIBLE!! 720 and 1080 is all thats available! Your screwed if you bought that nice new 4K tv! Picture quality SUCKS! If they don't upgrade the video quality, I WILL go back to Comcast!

I love it when it works, but mostly it doesn't! And when it doesn't work the incompetence of this company really shines! They seem incapable of fixing anything in a timely fashion and provide almost no feedback on when, if ever, your service will be restored.

Century Link is one of the arose providers I have ever seen. I lose internet service several times a week. I am on the phone with them all the time. Their customer service people try to help, however, I think it is the actual service itself that is bad. I am, right now, looking for a different provider.

Terrible Internet and phone services, beginning from January to current. Currently out of internet services for almost 2 weeks now. Terrible equipment connection by technicians not properly trained. Totally untrained, uneducated and terrible language problem with customer service representatives. Supervisors/Managers do not ever want to accept calls to resolve problems.
