WORST INTERNET PROVIDERS! My internet only worked half the time. When I complained the told me I needed to upgrade. I upgraded and still didn't have internet service. So I switched to Google Fiber. It's a lot cheaper and I haven't had one issue with my internet. When I canceled I had CenturyLink for 3 days. They tried to charge me for the whole month. When told them to prorate it they refused and threatened to take it to collections. I fought all the way to the top before someone actually fixed it. I spent over 20 hours on phone calls to get this fixed. Waste of my time and money for service I never received.

Good, steady speeds and I like the life lock price guarantee (not sure if it's still available but it's great!). We spend 40% less on internet than when we were with Xfinity. Service seems the same, and I just found out that CL is amping up speeds in my area to up to 500 Mbps (we've been on 65). Cool--I might be tempted to bump up the speed even though I really like my low price.

CenturyLink delivers decent speeds at an affordable price point, to areas without fiber options. I can get Xfinity at my home but got frustrated with them after a few years and tried CenturyLink instead. Although the speed isn't quite as fast, it works great for streaming video on multiple devices and uploading files for work. CenturyLink doesn't play the price flirt game either—wooing you with low prices the first few month and then switching you to a much higher rate (companies call this practice "giving a promotional price" but it only works because we are all too busy to read the fine print). HighSpeedInternet.com helped me find CenturyLink so thank you!

See internet providers in nearby cities.

Live in a small town or suburb outside of Pleasant Grove? We got you covered, too.

Methodology

HighSpeedInternet.com compares internet providers within cities and metro areas to give customers the most relevant insights into their internet options. When comparing providers, we consider the following:

  • Provider coverage areas
  • Advertised speeds
  • Real-world speeds (speed test data)
  • Customer feedback
  • Other relevant localized data

We source localized coverage data displayed on our coverage maps from the FCC coverage database, which is updated every six months. For the most current summary of providers in your area, we recommend you use our zip code search tool, which offers the most recent coverage data straight from internet service providers (ISPs).

Our city overviews compare advertised provider speeds. We may also include real-world speed data gathered from millions of annual speed test results. To process our speed test data, we first filter out outliers and providers with low test counts. We then calculate speed averages with every ISP subject to the same parameters.

We gather ISP customer feedback data from our comprehensive annual surveys and direct customer feedback submitted to HighSpeedInternet.com. Unless stated otherwise, average ratings are calculated nationally.
