Oceanside Residential Internet Coverage

Along the western coast of California, near the southern border of the state, the city of Oceanside has over 175,000 residents and many successful businesses. Several internet service providers meet the needs of customers with cable, satellite, DSL, and fiber plans.

Through AT&T, many Oceanside neighborhoods have access to fiber, DSL, or both. The network reaches parts of San Onofre and many southern neighborhoods, with the exception of Mission Avenue and San Luis Rey. The fiber network is smaller than the DSL network, although it is still being developed throughout California.

Time Warner Cable makes cable internet accessible to several southern areas, as well as the eastern edges of San Onofre and Las Flores. Neighborhoods within the provider's service area include College Boulevard and Blue Sky Lane.

I hate this server and it's the worst I've ever seen. I'm always on 3/4 bars and we don't know if an extender will even help. Service is terrible and the speed is awfully slow. I would switch but this is the best one out of them all and it's pretty sad. I wish I could switch but I can't.

Cox Communications provides great customer service, the speed of my internet is fast and there are rarely any interruptions in service. I think their pricing is a little high compared to some internet services advertising that I see, but are not available in my area.

This is the worse service I have ever had. Since day 1 after switching from COX the services are terrible. I had to wait about 5 days before they figured out what was wrong with the lines and why wasn't working. Since then, every month I have issues, my internet and TV work for a few days and then services go down. I usually have to wait for a technician to get here, they never have appointments until two to three days out. Today is Thanksgiving and when my family and I woke up noticed the services were down again. I called and was told the soonest they can get here is Saturday. I have visitors coming to watch games, play video games and movies, we usually use internet for all of the above. This is beyond frustrating and ridiculous. I am now calling COX to go back. Do not waste your time with ATT, the savings in their monthly fees are not worth it. I have dealt with many companies now, and can share that for sure ATT is the worse company I dealt with. Services are not reliable.
