Pasadena Residential Internet Coverage

There are many well-known local and national internet service providers that provide excellent service to Pasadena and its nearby rural and suburban communities.

One of the most widespread internet providers in the country, AT&T, provides both fiber internet and DSL to this area. The combined coverage map spans all of Pasadena, including more remote northern neighborhoods like North Arroyo.

In the eastern part of Pasadena, Frontier Communications is starting to develop a large service area. Coverage includes North East, East Central, South East, and part of Mid Central.

Providing high-speed cable internet packages to much of Pasadena, Time Warner Cable has a service area that spans the southern half of the city and much of the eastern neighborhoods. Coverage is widely available south of Maple Street and east of North Lake Avenue, reaching Mid Central, South East, East Central, and South Arroyo.

Through its rival, Charter Communications, cable internet is available in all of Pasadena.

The service area for New Edge Networks runs west to east through the central part of Pasadena, stopping short of outer neighborhoods like North Arroyo, South Arroyo, and South East. All of Pasadena fits into the service area of Sonic.net.

I really enjoyed speaking and working with Gabriel in Pasadena to get my router and modem installed by threading the coaxial cable through the wall. I did not get to fill out the survey regarding his visit in time, but I hope he is recognized for his good work through this review. I hope this gets back to him and he can add to a list of already very positive reviews.

The consistency of our service is spotty at best. It cuts out on a daily basis during the business day when we are both trying to work from home due to the pandemic. It is very disappointing to be dropped from meetings we are hosting due to outages however brief.

We have internet bundled with phone. Internet is fine. Phone is unreliable --sometimes doesn't work for outgoing calls, sometimes people who call get no ring tone or busy signal. Pricing is arbitrary and capricious. Cost goes up every year (since 2016) and again after a few months (Nov 2018) We want to switch

Things are good overall, but service and communication are a little lacking. signed up for what I thought would be a fixed rate and it turns out that it was a promotional rate. This was not communicated to me. It wa probably fine print somewhere but still frustrating.
