Green Bay Residential Internet Coverage

The city of Green Bay and its outlying communities have a population of well over 100,000 people. Throughout the city, many different internet service plans are available.

Through Centurylink Prism, neighborhoods east of Woodside Heights and Fireman's Park enjoy access to fiber internet service. The CenturyLink DSL network begins east of the Fox River, including some southwestern neighborhoods near Austin Straubel Airport.

The AT&T network, which primarily provides DSL, covers all of Green Bay and surrounding communities like Ashwaubenon and Howard. The fiber network is still being developed and built in this area.

Time Warner Cable is an established choice in this area, running as far north as Bay Highlands, as far south as Astor Park, as far west as Fritsch Park, and as far east as Seymour Park.

The Nsight network is primarily limited to western Green Bay, particularly northwestern Green Bay. Coverage includes the areas of King of Arms and Perkins Park.

If you try to disconnect service they put you on endless holds. Then come back with a sales pitch. I made 3 different attempts to cancel service. They went so far as asking for the new owners name. Horrible internal dysfunction.

Received a promotion flyer which was mailed to my newly acquired Condo. The promotion was clearly said 39.99 /mo for 2 years. The rate changed after a year to the standard rate at 54.99. Called the service department and they are not to honor their promotion and said the rate can be changed after a year. I was lucky to find the promotion card which has my address on it. The company is dishonest and the service was horrible in the first 3 months, finally it is getting better.

I enjoy the product. Poor assistance from any representative. Claims of "I'm going to help". You get put on hold while they "work on" things. I believe they're simply chit chatting to each other, and really have no interest in helping anything. End result is "you gotta pay or we shut off service". Mistakes, untruths given, misleading statements by them, all just mean "ooooh. We're so sorry but you gotta pay or we shut service off".

They charged me for a service that I wasn't receiving and said the would bring my monthly bill down to make up for it. They didn't change my bill after that and my online speeds cut out random times in the day.

Speed is great but we pay alot for it. The service can be good and it can also be bad. Sometimes you can't get a connection at all, then you need to reset the router. We have home wifi which we like alot. Never had any other hi speed internet to compare this to.

While we do not pay for the fastest internet service I can't imagine it being much faster! It's excellent. We have been with the company for seven years and I wouldn't change a thing!

Methodology

HighSpeedInternet.com compares internet providers within cities and metro areas to give customers the most relevant insights into their internet options. When comparing providers, we consider the following:

  • Provider coverage areas
  • Advertised speeds
  • Real-world speeds (speed test data)
  • Customer feedback
  • Other relevant localized data

We source localized coverage data displayed on our coverage maps from the FCC coverage database, which is updated every six months. For the most current summary of providers in your area, we recommend you use our zip code search tool, which offers the most recent coverage data straight from internet service providers (ISPs).

Our city overviews compare advertised provider speeds. We may also include real-world speed data gathered from millions of annual speed test results. To process our speed test data, we first filter out outliers and providers with low test counts. We then calculate speed averages with every ISP subject to the same parameters.

We gather ISP customer feedback data from our comprehensive annual surveys and direct customer feedback submitted to HighSpeedInternet.com. Unless stated otherwise, average ratings are calculated nationally.
