Not even getting close to what we are paying for. They send out techs and nothing gets resolved. Assigned 3 different supervisors and still nothing gets resolved. Why exactly are we paying 161.00 dollars a month for substandard internet service. Their techs and supervisor's can't or don't want to fix the problem and they don't understand why we as customers are pissed off

This is the 3rd outage in past few days. Working at home is really difficult without being able to rely on Spectrum Internet to be consistently available. Disappointing.

My mother passed away on August 2nd 2018. We called to cancel the spectrum service after she passed. I inherited my mom house and yesterday I went and set up an account with spectrum and was told that my account would be up and running today. I set up the installation package and tried to get my service to work and my laptop would not connect. I contacted spectrum and was told that everything is set up correctly on my end however there was an outstanding bill in my moms account. That has nothing to do with my account so why would this prevent my service from working. I will not be doing any business with spectrum. They were very unprofessional on the phone when I was talking to them.

I really have enjoyed Time Warner Cable inasmuch as there were very few problems with Internet going down, tv going down etc. What I do not like about them and some other cable companies is that they play the same stuff over and over and for the outrageous prices they charge they should at least include movie channels for free. Plus every year they raise their prices to just too much and that's why I have to cancel my plan with them. I need to find excellent connection speeds and wifi with low cost. Its out of control. See internet providers in nearby cities.

Live in a small town or suburb outside of Kenosha? We got you covered, too.

Methodology

HighSpeedInternet.com compares internet providers within cities and metro areas to give customers the most relevant insights into their internet options. When comparing providers, we consider the following:

  • Provider coverage areas
  • Advertised speeds
  • Real-world speeds (speed test data)
  • Customer feedback
  • Other relevant localized data

We source localized coverage data displayed on our coverage maps from the FCC coverage database, which is updated every six months. For the most current summary of providers in your area, we recommend you use our zip code search tool, which offers the most recent coverage data straight from internet service providers (ISPs).

Our city overviews compare advertised provider speeds. We may also include real-world speed data gathered from millions of annual speed test results. To process our speed test data, we first filter out outliers and providers with low test counts. We then calculate speed averages with every ISP subject to the same parameters.

We gather ISP customer feedback data from our comprehensive annual surveys and direct customer feedback submitted to HighSpeedInternet.com. Unless stated otherwise, average ratings are calculated nationally.
