Culver City Residential Internet Coverage

While it borders Los Angeles, most areas throughout Culver City have limited access to internet providers in the area.

Communities located in northern Culver City, near the town center, south to neighborhoods near Braddock Drive can employ AT&T as their internet provider. Offering DSL internet, AT&T offers speeds up to 75 Mbps, though most residents don't get more than 25 Mbps on average.

Neighborhoods near Ladera Heights can get internet services through Frontier Communications, which offers both DSL and fiber optics internet. Fiber optics through Frontier boasts internet download speeds up to 100 Mbps, while DSL offers up to 15 Mbps.

These communities also have access to Sonic cable and DSL services, offering advertised speeds of 12 Mbps and 100 Mbps, respectively. Those who choose the DSL services can also get 100 Mbps in upload speeds as well, some of the highest in the area.

Time Warner Cable Spectrum services all of Culver City with cable internet, from the northern neighborhoods in the town center to those as south as Antioch U-Los Angeles. Right now, they offer download speeds up to 300 Mbps and upload speeds up to 25 Mbps.

HughesNet is the last company offering internet services throughout Culver City. Their satellite internet offers advertised speeds up to 15 Mbps during a clear day.

Terrible service. Had spotty internet for a month straight that would go out every 15 minutes. My roommate and I work at home so this was unacceptable and made working and living impossible. We tried calling multiple times, went in-store to replace our router, had various technicians come out and say nothing was wrong, went in-store again to then replace our motem, and it still didn't work. We had to rely almost exclusively on our weak phone hot spots, running up our phone bills. When we tried to get a refund for that month's internet bill, we were transferred back and forth to different departments and ultimately had to fight to get less than half of our bill comped. Given this company makes millions of dollars, you'd think they'd be able to refund a $55 bill for internet that didn't work at all that month. Looking to switch providers immediately.

Terrible service. The internet keeps cutting out. When I download it buffers every time. I regret changing from AT & T which offered a far superior service. Very disappointing.
