Kalamazoo Residential Internet Coverage

Thanks to many established internet service providers, the college students, families, and professionals who call Kalamazoo home have a number of options to consider.

AT&T brings fiber and DSL to this growing city. DSL is available in every area of Kalamazoo, while fiber is slowly spreading into the city's busiest areas. Frontier Communications provides DSL coverage to a limited area, including part of South Westnedge and part of the Milwood neighborhood. Windstream DSL serves customers in various parts of Kalamazoo, with coverage as far northeast as Burke Acres and as far west as Arcadia. Service reaches the eastern communities of Eastside and Edison.

Burke Acres is also within the service area of Xfinity, which provides cable service to outer communities like Edison, Eastside, and Colony Farm. Charter covers 100% of Kalamazoo with its high-speed cable service. Almost every part of the city is within the service area of Eaglenet DSL, and much of the area has access to Eaglenet's copper wireline internet.

Finally, HughesNet, with download speeds as high as 15 Mbps, makes satellite available to the entirety of Kalamazoo.

I had them or years, internet and cell service and I have to say that they charge the most for the least. I live in the city yet they only offer 75mbps service for $70 which i never got even 60mbps. I cancelled and went with Spectrum and I get their 500mbps for $45 which I always get at least 525mbps. I would always drop calls on their cell service and yes I had the latest and greatest phones lol. I was paying $90 a month for that so I switched to Spectrum mobile as well and I get unlimited everything or $29.

I'm 'M paying for Ultra internet, but speed test says 170, no where near 1000. Also TV is horrible, keeps pixelating, both picture and sound.

Pricing is great, but that is it. If you want them constantly telling you you aren't using your internet and thus you'll lose it, then this company is for you. I've had to call and contact them at least every month and no one knows what to do and they only try to sell me stuff. Service is good, but not reliable, I get 44mbs but it'll randomly drop or stop for no reason. Overall, find someone else unless you can't.

My internet service is always available. I rarely have any issues connecting to the internet. The speed is consistent but the price has fluctuated since I started receiving the service

It is ok, but the speed is not really fast, fast. and the site is down frequently. I have been with them awhile and in a package with my cable and telephone.
