An Old Game Spectrum seems to play the old bait and switch game. They advertise one price, but have some really small fine print. We are now paying almost twice the original sign up price, and getting very poor service. Inn the last month our service has been out six times. This is not at night like they tried to tell me on my recent phone call, these six times were during regular business hours. The last person I talked to there went into a long speech before even listening to my situation. If you want regular price increases and poor service this is the company for you.

I moved to NC in October of 2020 and initiated service with Spectrum for WiFi right away. Although speed is consistently excellent on my tier of service, the bill has gone up 3 times in little more than two years. I recently switched mobile service from Verizon to Spectrum Mobile. Spectrum was running a “buy one line get a second line free for 12 months. I explained my wife worked out of town and it would be the following week before I could add her line. They switched my phone and said call back the next week to complete the switch of my wife’s phone so as to get the BOGO special. When I called back there was considerable confusion and I was transferred 5 or 6 times. Ultimately I was handed off to what I understood to be a retention department. That person completed the addition of my wife’s line under the BOGO offer. As compensation for all the difficulty the CSR told me I would receive $10 off my next WiFi bill. The next month I was charged for both lines and there was no $10 discount on the WiFi service. When I called I was told I didn’t qualify for the BOGO offer and there would be no WiFi discount. I was told there was no recourse. Although the mobile cost is very good, clearly this company cannot be trusted.

I love my provider. I had them for as long as 6 years but I traded them for another company only till I had that company for about less than 2 months when the system started acting up and freezing in spots. I just went right back to my old company. When I said I shouldn't have switched in the first place. Direct Tv had so many other features that the other cable company didn't have and I missed SO much. I missed you direct tv I now have my dvr back...
