Daly City Residential Internet Coverage
Living on the borders of the Pacific Island and the infamous San Francisco, Dale City residents enjoy many perks of being near both. The benefits continue, as they have a wide selection of internet providers to choose amongst.
Offering residents both cable and DSL internet, Sonic provides a small net of coverage in the area of Dale City. Areas within close proximity to downtown, which borders San Francisco, will have access to it. This includes neighborhoods as east as John Daly Road extending down to around Broadmoor and west towards Whittier Street. They offer advertised download speeds up to 12 Mbps with cable and up to 100 Mbps with DSL.
Wave Broadband offers cable internet to residents throughout Daly City, with advertised download speeds of 110 Mbps. They are commonly located on the eastern side of Dale City, though can also carry to northwestern neighborhoods as well. Most residents from eastern Bayshore and southern communities bordering or below Colma may be out-of-range for service.
HughesNet provides satellite internet for all residents throughout Dale City. Although they provide universal service, download speeds are contingent on the weather conditions. During sunny weather, residents can expect speeds up to 15 Mbps. However, during rainier conditions, speeds have been reported as low as 2 Mbps.
AT&T provides service to all areas of Dale City with DSL internet. While residents may not have access to AT&T Uverse here, the DSL services still range upward of 75 Mbps for download speeds. However, most residents average around 25 Mbps.
Xfinity by Comcast also services all of Dale City with high-speed internet. Currently, they advertise download speeds around 250 Mbps in the area, with upload speeds being between 25-to-99 Mbps.
