AT&T is garbage . No one on the company knows how to fix any problems. If something doesn’t work , they are completely lost. We have to the storm and called tech , no one knows how to fix issues.

Moved from Sarasota to Bradenton and the fun began. The technician never showed up on the day scheduled: after multiple calls, learned the service call was cancelled...really? Installation was rescheduled for 3 days later.... again, no show. After multiple calls, got someone to pull a technician from Sarasota and sent them to our house in Bradenton. The technician was awesome, worked hard from 4-8P to install phone line, internet and TV. We learned that Frontier just bought Verizon and has not been able to 'keep up' ever since then. Your gain is our loss... treated us like we don't matter 2 x. Last but not least, 2 days ago all service goes down... the person we spoke to said they could not see any problems between them and our house... it must be something at our house, they would send a technician in 4 days! Really? On day 2 of no service (even though we told them my husband works from home and needs internet, etc), he checked the panel and found a loose wire, which he attached.. bingo! We had service! We cannot tell you how disappointed we are with Frontier and will definitely look into an alternative service.. on principle alone! There is no excuse for the poor level of service we received, especially having been existing customers. In the real world, people just dump such a pathetic company like this but they almost have a monopoly as there's only 1 other choice and it's going to be a crap shoot as to how well they will work out for us.

See internet providers in nearby cities.

Live in a small town or suburb outside of West Samoset? We got you covered, too.

Methodology

HighSpeedInternet.com compares internet providers within cities and metro areas to give customers the most relevant insights into their internet options. When comparing providers, we consider the following:

  • Provider coverage areas
  • Advertised speeds
  • Real-world speeds (speed test data)
  • Customer feedback
  • Other relevant localized data

We source localized coverage data displayed on our coverage maps from the FCC coverage database, which is updated every six months. For the most current summary of providers in your area, we recommend you use our zip code search tool, which offers the most recent coverage data straight from internet service providers (ISPs).

Our city overviews compare advertised provider speeds. We may also include real-world speed data gathered from millions of annual speed test results. To process our speed test data, we first filter out outliers and providers with low test counts. We then calculate speed averages with every ISP subject to the same parameters.

We gather ISP customer feedback data from our comprehensive annual surveys and direct customer feedback submitted to HighSpeedInternet.com. Unless stated otherwise, average ratings are calculated nationally.
